What I’m reading…

I’ll finish Ship of Magic by Robin Hobb in the next 24 hours and I may have to bump up my planned read of Mad Ship because I’m obsessed.

I took a quick peek at the first chapter of Blood Over Bright Haven by ML Wang, which is the Fantasy Sickos Book Club read for December and WOWZAS she brought the high heat for it. I’ve got a great feeling about it, especially since I already gave a high rating to The Sword of Kaigen.

I’ll start Open Veins of Latin America by Eduardo Galeano this week as well!

In short, it’s setting up to be a bonkers reading week as we get closer to the end of the year.

What I’m watching…

Arcane S2 is on deck, hoping to get through most of that this week. I’m onto S4 What We Do in the Shadows and it seems to get better and better with each season. Bummed about Ferrari not taking the Constructors Championship at Abu Dhabi on Sunday but I love how competitive the top of the grid has become during the second half of the season. 2025 should be a crazy season. And go birds, of course.

What I’m playing…

I don’t know about y’all but in a snap my TikTok FYP got flooded with Red Dead Redemption 2 content. I’ve already done two playthroughs (one high honor, one low honor) but I might F around and put this Fallout 4 endgame playthrough on hold (or rush to it) and hang out with the good man Arthur Morgan.

What I’m doing…

Content, content, content. I posted a new video to YouTube today with long-form thoughts on the book series I’m continuing in 2025.
